Endoscopic Ultrasound Cancer Staging and Fine Needle Aspiration

Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is an integral part of the staging of many gastrointestinal cancers. Once a lesion is identified using this method, a fine needle aspiration can be taken to help characterize the lesion.
