Reflux Esophagitis
This is a subtype of esophagitis that is typically caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
This inflammation in the lining of the esophagus can happen due to increased acid returning from the stomach.
It is increased when you eat acidic foods, large and fatty meals, smoke or gain extra weight.
